I chose this topic because I feel that most people when they hear 3D Printing think that it is a science fiction technology or a technology that is expensive and out of reach. This is not the case however, 3D printers have become a very accessible technology to the common person if they were educated on it. From inexpensive printers that are mainly a novelty used for fun to more expensive printers that could be used to create prototypes.
